HEALTH & SAFETY

OUR APPROACH

Health & Safety awareness levels have significantly risen over the years amongst Tayanna employees. This is supported by our team of committed management who continually use ISO as a guideline to follow closely. In accordance with our Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) procedures we were able to recognize that most near-miss incidents in disregard of their Maximum Reasonable Outcome (M.R.O) were as a result of people doing jobs they were not trained to perform. To put controls on such risks we have become stricter in our recruiting process of all new employees.

Tayanna commits to:

  • Comply implicitly with all relevant laws, regulations and standards. In the absence of appropriate legislation, industrial best-practice will be applied.
  • Ensure that all employees are aware of the safety process related to Tayanna’s activities and are competently trained in their areas of responsibility.
  • Implement occupational health and safety management systems based on internationally recognized standards.
  • Communicate openly with our clients, employees, elected representatives and affected parties to promote procedures to enhance occupational health and safety.
  • Follow a process of risk management that will continuously reduce the occupational health and safety risks associated with the company’s business activities.
  • Regularly monitor the occupational health and safety effects of its activities on employees and affected parties with the view to improving the system.

At Tayanna, our strong workforce has the required skills, experience and resourcefulness to respond to project challenges, adding value to all our clients’ needs. If you are interested in joining on workforce contact us here.
